Beale Street Tonight

Expect to see hundreds of bicyclists downtown this weekend for the third annual Bluff City Blues 100 Bicycle Tour, set for October 4th. The ride will begin at 8 a.m., and riders can opt for the 40, 62, or 100-mile bicycle routes around the city. Last year, about 270 bicyclists joined the ride, which begins and ends in front of W.C. Handy Park on historic Beale Street. To see route maps or to register, visit memphishightailers.com. All pre-paid registrants will receive a Memphis Hightailers T-shirt, and all fees and donations will benefit Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.
