This massive annual festival brings together crafters, bands, and community-minded citizens. There will be booths featuring the wares of 400 artisans from around the country, and scheduled to perform on the festival’s three stages are Sid Selvidge & Friends, Bonafide, Cayerio, the University of Memphis Jazz Quartet, and many others.
In addition, Literacy Mid-South is holding a book sale — with 5,000 books as well as DVDs and audio books — from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its offices at 902 S. Cooper. A $10 fee will get you first dibs (as well as coffee and donuts) during the preview hour from 8 to 9 a.m.
