E.P.'s Delta Kitchen Hosts Memorial Dinner 

On Wednesday, January 10th at 7 p.m., E.P. chef Michael Patrick will host a memorial dinner for Larry Lackey, chef/owner of the Cajun restaurant Cayenne Moon. Lackey passed away late last year.

Patrick became friendly with Lackey after Patrick began hanging out at Cayenne Moon after hours. According to Patrick, he and Lackey would stay up to 3 a.m. on some mornings talking about the food business and more.

The memorial dinner will feature three courses, including soup and salad, blackened steak, red beans and rice, and salmon with crawfish butter and saffron rice. Cost of the dinner is $50, with funds going to keep Cayenne Moon open. To make reservations, go to the E.P. Web site.
