Farmer Mixer at the Brooks
Price: $12 members, $15 nonmembers
Mingle with area farmers, locavores, and gardeners during this event, which features “make-and-take” crafts, live music by Bryan Hartley Industries, as well as food created by the Brushmark’s Wally Joe and Andrew Adams and the Chubby Vegetarian, Justin Fox Burks.
The mixer kicks off the Brooks’ Farmers Market Film Festival, which runs March 3rd, 10th, and 17th. This Saturday’s films include The Real Dirt on Farmer John at 2 p.m. and Food Stamped at 3:30 p.m.
