FASTER THAN A SPEEDING DONUT

FASTER THAN A SPEEDING DONUT

Reporting on the miraculous rescue of a group of Australian firefighters, Barbie Dutter of London's Daily Telegraph wrote, "As the fire roared towards the men on Thursday, they pulled out emergency fireblankets as they sat in their vehicle. Then 'Elvis' swooped from the sky and cleared a path for their escape." It wasn't actually Elvis, of course (who is, as most people know, still suffering from an acute case of death), but a helicopter nicknamed Elvis because it was originally used in Memphis. So what's next for Aussie rescue teams? A ladder called Jim Morrison because it couldn't get much higher?
