Harold Ford Jr.'s New York Senate campaign isn't getting off to the smoothest start. Several sources have noted that contrary to the Ford campaign's previous claims, the former Memphis congressman has paid all the New York state income tax he owes. Or, as Josh Marshall of Talking Points Memo put it, "Ford is presenting New Yorkers with a choice of voting against him as a tax cheat or as the guy with the worst press operation in human history."
