Former Tiger Shawne Williams Nipped with Bud ... Again

Former Memphis Tiger basketball star Shawne Williams -- now with the NBA Indiana pacers -- was pulled over in Indianapolis yesterday and charged with window tint and seatbelt violations. A passenger in Williams' car, Darryl Smith, 21, of Memphis, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

The charges follow a February incident in which a murder suspect in Tennessee was arrested after leaving Williams' Indianapolis home.

Pacers GM Larry Bird said he planned to meet with Williams to discuss the incident and Williams' future with the team. In June, Bird said Williams was on "thin ice."
