You Can t Take it With You opens at Theatre Memphis tonight, and Shakespeare s R&J opens at Circuit Playhouse. Tonight s art openings are at: Painted Planet Artspace for Charlie Agnew, Danny Bowers, and Donna Bowers; Java Cabana for work by Meg Hibbetz; and Jack Robinson Photography Gallery for work by James Ware Pitts. Food Network favorite and author Bobby Flay is at Central Library this afternoon discussing his latest cookbook Boy Gets Grill. Tonight s Gibson 5K Run/Walk at the Gibson Guitar Factory is a fund-raiser for St. Patrick s Learning Center and features a post-race party with live music by the Soul Shockers. Twisting Tarantulas are at the Blue Monkey Midtown tonight. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
