There are a lot of art openings tonight. They are at: Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center for works by Anderson Kenny; Midtown Artist Market for an Elvis Tribute Show, complete with Elvis-inspired art, dancing, and a wine, cheese, and peanut-butter-sandwich reception; Gallery 203 at the U of M for Public Displays, photography by Shawn Smejkal; Perry Nicole Fine Art for a summer invitational show by Warren Green, Dottie Sachritz, Jan Shoemaker, and Laura Young; Southside Gallery in Oxford for color photography by Christian Patterson and paintings by Harry Folsom; Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center for Verve, paintings by Jeanne Reynolds; and CBU's University Gallery for The Light Within Burton Callicott: Paintings and Poems. Now. If you want to hang around the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center for a while, you can catch a concert by the legendary Glen Campbell. The Orpheum Summer Classic Movie Series feature tonight is Camelot. At Sawaddii Thai Cuisine, tonight's Greetings from Brazil will feature Brazilian music all night. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
