It s opening night at Theatre Memphis Next Stage of Cloud 9, a satirical look at the up-tight Victorian Empire. And there are several art openings. They are at Lisa Kurts Gallery for photographs from Michael Eastman s book Horses; at Painted Planet Artspace for an artist spotlight for Mr. Imagination. Trace, Perspective, Blucka, Starliner, and Fireworks Over London are at the New Daisy tonight. It s The Oscars CD-Release Party featuring The Original Three and Care at the Hi-Tone. Phosphorescent, Andy Grooms, and Amy & The Tramps are at Young Avenue Deli. And, as always, The Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
