Back at TheatreWorks it s the first Friday of the month, which means Freak Engine at midnight, the monthly variety show of theater, performance art, improv comedy, dance, music, and more. If you like bluegrass music, IIIRD Tyme Out is playing tonight at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center. Tonight s Orpheum Summer Movie Series feature is The Godfather, preceded by a Looney Tunes cartoon, a Three Stooges short, and a concert on the mighty Wurlitzer organ. The Honeymoon Garner Trio is playing tonight and tomorrow night at King s Palace CafÇ on Beale Street. Jungle Room is at Madison Flame. Lucero, The Lost Sounds, and Snowglobe are at Young Avenue Deli. And last but certainly not least, at Backtracks in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, there s live music tonight by Big 69 Johnson.
