God made me do it

Gubernatorial candidate and Methodist minister Bob Tripp, whose campaign slogan is "This is one Tripp Tennesseans can't afford to miss," has been quoted as saying that his run for office was inspired by an epiphany delivered by none other than Jehovah himself. According to the AP, Tripp believes TennCare needs reform because "a friend of a friend" told him that a woman from Mississippi had illegally used the program to get treatment in Memphis. Given Tripp's hotline to the heavenly host and his clearly indefatigable efforts to understand the intricacies of the TennCare program, Fly on the Wall would like to officially endorse Bob Tripp -- for dogcatcher.
