Grizzlies Fall to Mavericks, 113-97

Dirk Nowitzki had 37 points and 11 rebounds and Josh Howard had 23 points to lead Dallas to a relatively trouble-free win over the Grizzlies Wednesday night.

Memphis was led by Pau Gasol's 29 points in the losing effort. The Grizzlies stayed just ahead of Boston in the "worst-record in the NBA race", as the Celtics lost for the 16th time in a row.
