Is Jerry West Leaving the Griz?

Jerry West suggested today in stronger terms than ever that he would likely step down as president of basketball operations for the Memphis Grizzlies following this summer's rookie draft.

In a meeting with local media, West indicated that there could be as many as three new additions to the franchise’s management team that he will have a role in hiring: Two in the front office and one on the sidelines. For more from West’s post-season press conference, see Beyond the Arc, the Flyer’s Grizzlies blog.
