I love A-Tan! They have marvelous hot and sour soup, and if you're watching your waistline and/or have kids in tow, their steamed chicken and veggies is excellent; comes with two kinds of sauce -- yum! My daughter agrees with MemphisCheapskate about the hibachi part of the restaurant: better food and cheaper prices than Benihana. Service is friendly and fast, too.
I hate Gannett. It's turning our country into one big cesspool for news. No objective journalism allowed there. The CA has become a skinny, threadbare read with no independent opinions allowed. Gannett is doing this to cities all over the country. There is very little variance among them save paid obits, etc. BAH!!
Well, hell! Let's make our cooling water cost efficient by helping ourselves to our God-given, pure, clean drinking water. After all, we can always make more of it, right? Oh, and if we can't, then we can purify the sludge that's left like Flint is doing, right? Oh, that's right ... Flint can't. Well, let's worry about that when the time comes. By then we'll surely have a solution. And by all means let's keep the Electoral College where your vote really doesn't count. Wiser heads than yours will prevail to dictate who's going to lead our country. That's the way you want it, right? Where someone you've never heard of is the real one to decide who's going to occupy the highest office in the land? Your trek to the polls is meaningless, so who needs voter ID or even campaigns? I am completely appalled and disgusted by this. It should be one wo/man, one vote. And pure, clean drinking water is finite and should be untouchable for any other purpose. Period. End of story.
I am all in favor of legalizing unlimited medicinal marijuana for people it may help. I'm a little less liberal when it comes to recreational marijuana, but I still think it should be legal. It would wipe out the illegal vendors and that segment of our society which is unsavory and which would sell tainted marijuana at a greatly escalated price.
I pre-ordered my copy. Can't wait to get it next week!
I've been going to their Broad location for decades. It's my favorite pizza. I usually get their Broadway Super Special, and two slices is a meal. Their crust is superb. I hope the new location stays true to the Broad model. YUM!
Looks delightful! But what about lunch?
