Jimi Jamison No Survivor 

Last week, Memphian Jimi Jamison announced that he has left the band Survivor (“High on You”) over creative and business differences. Jamison joined the band in 1984, but for the past decade and a half, the relationship has been complicated. Robin McAuley, of the McAuley Schenker Group, will replace him.

  • Todd Snider Set for "Relaunch" of Gibson Lounge

    Nashville (by way of Memphis) folk singer Todd Snider will play the Gibson Lounge Saturday, along with Amy & the Tramps. The concert will serve as something of a relaunch for the venue, which has been under-used in recent months.

    Snider says he might play with Amy and friends, "or if I get into to town in time to drink half a bottle of wine, I might wing it." Either way, it should be a great night of music. Read more about it here.
