Okay, okay, so the Sam Cooper sniper who has struck at least a dozen times appears to be shooting at cars, not people. But is it safe to drive on Sam Cooper? A WMC-TV reporter quoted one police official, saying, "That would be a personal choice. If a person wants to keep driving on Sam Cooper, that's their prerogative. The street is not closed off, but I would admonish people to be careful, be vigilant, and be aware of their surroundings if they're gonna drive on Sam Cooper." So some lunatic is taking pot shots at cars, and it's not much different than driving in the rain? Well, except for the bullets.
