Metal Museum Repair Days
The museum’s annual fund-raiser features metalsmiths working to make your precious metals precious once again. On Friday, metalsmiths give estimates on repairs, and there is a metalworking demonstration at 7 p.m.
Saturday is “Family Fun Day” and includes interactive demonstrations such as casting and jewelry making. The auction preview begins at 4 p.m., and an opening reception for the museum’s 2009 master metalsmith Elizabeth Brim is at 5 p.m.
