Just two words about tonight: Melinda Shoaf. She will be at Davis-Kidd tonight, signing copies of her book and/or spoken-word CD (I know, that's talking, but in a good way) of her newest work, Crawdad Dreams, a lovely collection of short stories, essays and other works about her family and other things related to growing up in Covington, Brighton, and Memphis, Tennessee.
