Out With the Old

Oh, the irony. Matt Leinart, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from USC who’s projected to be a top three draft pick this year, was allowed to sit and watch a Tennessee Titans practice this week while visiting with Titans coaches and management in Nashville. But Steve McNair, the Titans' Pro Bowl iron man and undisputable face of the franchise, has been banned from the same practice facility because of a nasty contract dispute.

Leinart wrote about his visit to Nashville in his ESPN online diary found here. As for McNair, Green Bay might have a quarterback vacancy soon. We hear they like guys from Mississippi.
