Two more art openings today. One is at theClip Joint Gallery for paintings by Theresa Mirable and Terry Robinson, and the other is at CafÇ Francisco (6-8 p.m.) for black-and-white photographs by Monty Johnson. Tonight s black-tie Sports Ball at the fabulous new FedEx Forum to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters should be quite the wing-ding. Paul Thorn is at the New Daisy tonight. The Fieldstones are at the Blue Worm. Jason Freeman is playing during the 1-4 p.m. brunch at the Glass Onion. Papa Top s West Coast Turnaround is back in action at Murphy s. And last but certainly not least, the surreal event of Cher appearing at the DeSoto Civic Center on 9/11 takes place tonight.
