Today s Family Day at The Brooks at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art takes you through the exhibit In the Spirit of Martin and includes storytime with WKNO s Mr. Chuck, a children s arts and crafts area, and performances by Stax Music Academy groups. It s game day for the aforementioned Southern Heritage Classic football game at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Greekfest 2003 gets under way at St. George Greek Orthodox Church with Greek food, dancing, and cultural displays. Los Cantadores are at the Blue Monkey Midtown tonight. At Neil s, there s a Benefit for the Junior Diabetes Foundation with 12 live bands (noon-3 a.m.). And today s big, big bash is the 16th annual Cooper-Young Festival with just about everything a festival can offer.
