Cooking not your thing? Well, you have a lot to be thankful for this holiday because there are plenty of options for eating out on Thanksgiving. From 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., the Madison Hotel is offering a four-course dinner featuring your choice of Ashley Farms turkey, Niman Ranch ham, or herb-crusted rack of lamb. For dessert, there's pumpkin crème brûlée. The meal is $32 to $35 plus tax and tip. Call 333-1224 for reservations.

There's brunch at The Peabody, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with all the usual Thanksgiving fare along with regular brunch items. Cost is $39.95 for adults and $15.95 for children 5 to 12, with tax and tip. Call 529-3668 for reservations. Capriccio Grill will also offer Thanksgiving favorites along with its usual menu. Cost is $32.95 with tax and tip. Call 529-4199 for reservations.

Haven't had your fill? MO's Memphis Originals will host a Thanksgiving Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $6. Breakfast and sandwiches can also be ordered. The Inn at Hunt Phelan's Thanksgiving, from noon to 5 p.m., will be buffet-style. Cost is $39 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Call 525-8225 for reservations.

They Sing Christmas Up in Harlem

Hattiloo Theatre, 8 p.m., $12-$15

Musical version of Dickens' Christmas Carol set in 1930s Harlem, featuring jazz and gospel songs.

Watoto de Afrika

Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center, 6 to 8 p.m.

Watoto de Afrika, a group of students ages 9 to 17, perform dance routines, hymns, spirituals, jazz and blues songs, and more. Repeat performances Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Caitlin's Help for Hope House 5K

Shelby Farms Information Center, 8 a.m.

This 5K is named in honor of Caitlin Steiger, who at age 14 raised $25,000 for Hope House. Hope House provides services to children and their families coping with HIV/AIDS. For more information, go to hopehouse5k.com.

A Christmas concert, featuring songs from the United States, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, led by ethnomusicologist Godwin Sadoh.
