More art openings today. They are at: Memphis Botanic Garden for contemporary botanical art by Sally Markell, Charlotte Heath, and Hillary Parker; The Glass Onion for work by Brad Long; and at Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center for Rapture, a must-see show by Brad Troxel that includes more than 100 paintings inspired by fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, and Tim Burton. Today s Pagan Pride Day at Overton Park Shell celebrates the autumnal equinox. And at Madison Flame tonight, Sister Michelle & The Holy Cows present a Night of Gospel Drag: A Benefit for Loving Arms. One can only imagine.
