And there s yet more art today. There s a Holiday Show and Sale at Clayworks Studio; at the National Ornamental Metal Museum there s an opening reception this afternoon for Some Like It Hot: Ironwork, an exhibit of artists ironworks; and at Tsunami, there s Wish: Carol Deforest Studio and Friends annual holiday show and sale. The Memphis Grizzlies play Phoenix this afternoon at The Pyramid. Rudy Walker, Herman Green, Calvin Newborn, and The Cooper-Young Jazz Sextant are playing at Young Avenue Deli as part of the Cooper-Young Open House, with shops and restaurants offering up holiday specials. And the lovely Di Anne Price & Her Boyfriends are playing at Huey s Midtown this afternoon, followed by Lauren Ellis.
