The Art Academy: A History of Memphis College of Art

The premiere of the True Story Pictures’ documentary, which follows the Memphis College of Art’s inception through its most amazing moments (a visit by David Bowie among them).
There will also be an art exhibit and silent auction at the theater from noon to 10 p.m. The works, created for the film, include portraits of the college’s notable figures as well as animation, illustrations, and more.
