The Big Dance Is Coming to Memphis

The Memphis Business Journal is reporting that the FedExForum (and Memphis, obviously) will host NCAA regional tournaments in 2009 and 2010. In 2009, Memphis will join Boston, Indianapolis, and Glendale (AZ); in 2010, other regional host cities will be Sacramento, Dayton, and Kansas City.

If Coach Calipari sticks around (and keeps winning) his Memphis Tigers could be playing at home for a couple of years. Not a bad deal for the university, and potential big bucks for Memphis. Sounds like a win-win to us. Read the Biz Journal story here.
