An evening of entertainment in honor of this year’s Memphis in May country, the Philippines. Performing tonight are the Philippines National Dance Company and martial-arts group Worldwide Family of Modern Arnis.
Chef Claude Tayag will be on hand offering a sampling of Filipino cuisine. (For those who want the full spread, there’s the Taste of the Philippines Dinner — a five-course menu by Tayag — at Chez Philippe Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. $65. Reservations: 529-4188.)
