Three Wannabes 

The trio of major candidates in the 9th District congressional race — Democrat Steve Cohen, Republican Mark White, and independent Jake Ford — tangled Monday night in a debate sponsored by the League of Women Voters. Most accounts had Cohen the winner, White holding his own, and Ford's recent momentum taking a plunge through some conspicuous non-answers. (For more, go to "Political Beat".)
