Tonight there's a preview party and screening of the new film Academy Boys at the Malco Majestic Cinema. It's the story of the relationship of two African-American scholarship students and one white student through boarding school in and out of class. Tonight's 6 p.m. meet-and-greet the actors and screening is a fund-raiser for Bridge Builders and the National Civil Rights Museum ($25 donation). The Lounge at the Gibson Guitar Factory opens to the public tonight, with live music by CYC. Over on Beale Street, Reba Russell is at the Black Diamond. And at the Hi-Tone, it's live music by National Tuesday.
