Tonight kicks off the Beale Street St. Patrick s Day Festival, with 21
bands playing in 12 clubs through Saturday. I m not sure who s playing where,
but I do know that the wild men of rockabilly, The Dempseys, are at
Elvis Presley s Memphis; Barbara Blue is at O Sullivan s on Beale; and
James Govan & the Boogie Blues Band are at Rum Boogie CafÇ. At the Mid-
South Coliseum, there s a concert by Godsmack, Staind, Cold, and
Systematic. And the Ross Rice Band is playing at the Blue
Monkey.
