Tigers' Robert Dozier Faces Possible Disciplinary Action

Preliminary word from unofficial sources at the university is that Memphis Tigers forward Robert Dozier was the subject of a police report Tuesday alleging that he struck his girlfriend. No official announcement has been made by the university yet.

Coach John Calipari issued the following statement: "Late Tuesday evening, I learned of an incident concerning one of our players, Robert Dozier. We are finding out all the facts, and if University or team policy was violated, I will deal with it in a fair and firm manner like I always have."

For the record, Dozier is an interdisciplinary studies major.
