Tigers to Tigers ... 

Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger Larry Porter, a running back for the U of M who set rushing records during his 1990-1993 tenure here (and is ranked as the fifth leading rusher in Tiger history) has been named the assistant head football coach for another group of Tigers — the purple-and-gold team at LSU.

Originally from Columbus, Georgia, he coached at UT-Martin and Arkansas State before joining the staff of Les Miles at Oklahoma State. When Miles was named head coach at LSU last year, Porter came along. For the full story, go here.
