UAB Fans Chant: "We Want Memphis!" 

Just in case the Tigers (and their fans) weren't up for this week's battle in Birmingham with UAB, get a load of this tidbit from the Birmingham News:

Not long after UAB set a school record for 3-pointers made in a game in the team's 86-56 victory over Southern Mississippi, the "We want Memphis" chants began ...

Southern Miss Coach Larry Eustachy was also impressed with the Blazers. Here's what he told the News: "UAB's starting five is as good as Memphis, and I think they will beat Memphis here on Thursday."

Looks like the Tigers won't have much of a chance. Maybe we should just forfeit and save ourselves the pain. But then again, how tough can a team be that's named after a sportcoat? Here's the rest of the story.
