Crosstown Concourse will add a co-working space this spring.
Renovation work has begun on the new space, to be called Crosstown CoWork. It will be located on the second floor next to Crosstown Arts, at the top of the red, spiral staircase.
Facility officials called the space ”a new, flexible workspace designed for small businesses, freelancers, remote workers, and entrepreneurs who want to be part of the dynamic Concourse community.”
“Almost from the beginning, we’ve received constant requests for a space like this,” said Todd Richardson, CEO of Crosstown Concourse. “There are so many people who want to be part of the Concourse ecosystem but don’t need a large office.
“Crosstown CoWork lets them plug into the community — and the opportunities — that make this place such a catalyst for innovation in Memphis.”
Crosstown CoWork will include:
• 13 furnished, private offices
• 14 dedicated, open-office desks with lockable storage
• a shared conference room
• full kitchen
• phone room
• mailroom (with a dedicated mailbox)
• high-speed WiFi
• lounge and informal meeting areas
• printer/copier/scanner
Memberships will be available on a monthly or annual basis. Dedicated desks start at $450 per month. Private offices start at $750 per month.
