“What the Cluck 3” has a lot to crow about. The hot wing team was the $25,000 winner at this year’s World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival, which was held April 18th on Riverside Drive.

According to the press release, “Since 2022 there has been an on-going competition called the World Wing Cup Series (WWCS), with participants vying to accumulate the highest total points over a five-year period. This year concluded the final round (5th year) of the WWCS.”

As they say in the henhouse, “Cock-a-doodle-doo!”

Memphis Tattoo Festival moved to a new home this year. Elvis would have been proud. It was held April 10th through 12th at the Graceland Exhibition Center. Previously, the festival was at the Renasant Convention Center.

This year’s event featured 200 tattoo artists, says Quinn Hurley, director of operations for the three-day event presented by Tattoo Fest and the Explore Tattoo Conference. “In terms of artists, we had the most artists at this one than we did the past two years,” he says.
