Here are a few links of note to finish out 2009.

First is a blast from the past: travel and food writer Paul Gerald's 2005 column on how people from around the world celebrate the New Year, food-wise.

The second is from another Flyer contributor, photographer Justin Fox Burks. He's got his hands on some black truffles!

Finally, a Hungry Memphis reader sent along a link from New York magazine's food blog Grub Street. Seems someone had a good time in Memphis. (Thanks, John.)
