Free Coffee at Dunkin' Donuts

Posted By on Tue, Jan 19, 2010 at 4:15 PM

Germantown donut lovers, rejoice! The second Dunkin’ Donuts in Memphis opens Wednesday in the Stonecreek shopping center on Poplar, and the coffee is free, as long as you bring a donation for the Memphis Food Bank.

The grand opening promotion runs all day: Bring one item for a complimentary medium coffee; bring three canned goods, and, in addition to coffee, you’ll get a travel mug and a coupon for a free donut on your next visit.
Franchise owner Maunish Shah also is donating up to $750 as a match to food contributions from customers.

I stopped by the new location last week for a sneak peek and tasting. There were dozens of different donuts on display (I loved the raspberry), along with a very cheerful staff of new employees.

Although the next location is still top secret, look for 12 more stores, particularly along the Poplar corridor and Germantown Parkway.
