A few days ago, fresh from competing at Cochon 555, Restaurant Iris' Kelly English tweeted:

Dear Memphis: we are sorry we didn't win, but we have something HUGE in the works. It's time to show the world how great a food town we are.

I spoke with English today and asked what that something was. He said because he's still working out the details he wasn't ready to reveal the specifics, but he did offer a hint ...

He said he's working with a big "foodie" organization to bring an event to town.

The first thing that pops into my mind is the James Beard House. Pam Denney thinks it could have something to do with the Food Network.

Also, given the timing of the tweet, maybe it has something to do with Cochon 555, which is a very cool touring competition designed to promote heritage breed pigs.

So, what are your thoughts on what it might be? What would you like it to be?
