It's been a productive time for a pair of local bloggers.

Over at Pam Plants a Garden: tomatoes, okra, and a cantaloupe!

And, Midtown Chicks has eggs, including an extra-large one.

As for that news ...

YogurLite, at 5030 Poplar (in the shopping strip near Whole Foods), is offering free samples Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. They're still working through inspections at this point but hope to be open by the end of next week.

Food News writer Hannah Sayle stopped by this afternoon for a taste and gave it two thumbs up.

Also, don't miss the Foodies' Guide to Memphis presentation Tuesday at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. Flyer friends Stacey Greenberg and Michael Hughes will be giving their tips on all things good to eat and drink in the area that you might be missing.
