Tennessee Flea Market

Posted By on Mon, Apr 4, 2011 at 2:31 PM

The Tennessee Flea Market on Winchester was absolutely hopping yesterday. Tons and tons of people and quite a bit of food too.

In addition to a pretty big food court with a Lenny's, home-cooking and barbecue restaurants and lots of corndogs, there are booths selling ice cream, Bavarian and German nuts, soups and dip mixes, flavored ices, etc.

Pam got a box of slightly expired Kashi cereal for 50 cents at a booth selling discount groceries. There were Moon Pies and salad dressing and nuts and organic products ... a little bit of everything.

There were a couple of Mexican bakeries.

Another booth was selling colorful Mexican candies.

Palazola, the wholesale produce business, had its first foray into retail at the flea market, and if you were looking for cabbage, you were in luck: five cabbages for $1!
