Luttrell, Ford Square Off in First One-on-One Debate Tuesday

One week after their victories in their primaries , Sheriff Mark Luttrell , Republican, and interim mayor Joe Ford , Democrat, will meet Tuesday, May 11, at noon in the general election campaign’s first one-on-one debate, sponsored by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Memphis chapter.

The debate will take place at Pancho's Mexican Restaurant, 717 N. White Station Rd., from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., with registration and networking taking place between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Moderators will be Danielle Schonbaum of the League of Women Voters and Jackson Baker of the Flyer.
