Maura Black Sullivan, executive director of the Memphis Housing Authority and former deputy CAO for Memphis Mayor A C Wharton, has accepted a job as chief operating officer for Mayor Andy Berke of Chattanooga. She, husband Jeff, and son Jack will move to Chattanoga, shortly after Christmas, when she will take up her new duties.

Sullivan held numerous influential jobs in both county and city government before her elevation to head up MHA at the time of then director Rober Lipscromb's resignation under pressure last September.
