Outflix Presents Guys and Balls

Posted By on Tue, Jun 19, 2012 at 12:15 PM

The third screening in this year's annual Outflix Summer Film Series features one of German cinema's first sports comedies, which also happens to be a pro-gay film with a message of defeating homophobia.

Originally titled Men Like Us, the 2004 comedy tells the story of a gay soccer goalkeeper who, after being kicked off his team because he's gay, puts together an all-gay team to take down the homophobes.

The film screens at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21st at Malco Studio on the Square. For more information, check out the event's Facebook page.
