State officials will be in Memphis Thursday to announce a $54.1 million road repair project that "will have significant impacts to traffic over the next several months."

Details are scant on the project. However, a news release from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said the "MemFix 4" project includes the "replacement and rehabilitation of four bridges along the I-240 corridor."

TDOT Commissioner John Schroer, TDOT chief engineer Paul Degges, and Shelby County Mayo Mark Luttrell will be on hand for the announced slated for Thursday at 11 a.m.

We'll post more details as we get them.
