Sound Advice: Tchaikovsky 4 - Sat. and Sun.

Posted By on Fri, Mar 14, 2014 at 11:38 AM

The Memphis Symphony Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony and two works by Mozart on Saturday, March 15th, at the Cannon Center and Sunday the 16th at GPAC. MSO will put its woodwinds to great effect for the latest in its First Tennessee Masterworks Series. The overture to Mozart's Magic Flute warms things up, followed by his Oboe Concerto. But the big deal is the symphony. You can't duplicate the sound in the hall. You'll be thrilled you went. Get tickets here. For more on the pieces, follow the links.
