"Boondocks" Creator Aaron McGruder to Speak at U of M

Aaron McGruder, creator of "Boondocks," will be at the University of Memphis this weekend to talk about his controversial comic strip. "Boondocks" follows two African-American brothers, Riley and Huey, and their life in the suburbs. Frequent targets include television network BET, President Bush, and rap culture.

McGruder will speak at the Michael D. Rose Theater 7 p.m. Sunday, November 19th. The event is free and open to the public.
