Mr. Magic Gets a Bad Break

Posted By on Mon, Apr 9, 2007 at 4:00 AM

For two decades, Dick Williams starred as Mr. Magic in the WMC-TV show Magicland. He would wear an outrageous paisley jacket, complete with black bowtie and ruffled shirt, and perform magic tricks for children who happened to be watching his show. Kids loved it. He retired in 1989.

But now, the holder of the Guinness Record for the longest running magic television show has fallen on hard times. His wife passed away in January, and Mr. Magic recently took a fall. He broke several bones and hit his head, causing brain trauma that was both painful and expensive.

If you remember Mr. Magic, please send him a little bit of money to help him combat his medical bills. For more information on what you can do, go here.

Do it for that paisley jacket.
