GOP Wins Big in Local Races; Cohen Beats Wilkins

Mark Luttrell, Amy Weirich, BIll Oldham and most of the rest of the GOP slate running for Shelby County offices won in Thursday’s election. Steve Cohen won reelection to the 9th District Congressional seat easily over challenger Ricky Wilkins. And state senator Ophelia Ford went down to defeat at the hands of challenger Lee Harris.
