Brushmark Restaurant at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art welcomes a new chef to oversee daily lunch operations, as well as the museumย’s special events. Chef Wally Joe ย— creator of Wally Joeย’s Restaurant in Memphis and KCย’s in Cleveland, Mississippi ย— will continue his involvement with these eateries while he and his chef de cuisine, Andre Adams, shake things up at Brooks Museum.

Says Brooks spokesperson Diane Jalfon: ย“I am confident that with Wallyย’s incredible culinary skills, we will be able to take the art of food to an entirely new level.ย“

Though his involvement starts immediately, Wally Joeย’s official culinary debut at the Brooks will take place Saturday, November 18th, at the annual Moss Society Dinner. Joeย’s cuisine fuses Asian specialties with hints of the American South. Go to the Brooks Website for more info.
